Wallace Skin & Body Institute Paul Wallace, MD, MPA, is a highly respected celebrity cosmetic dermatologist providing medical dermatology services at Wallace Skin & Body Institute, located in the Ladera Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. For over 20 years, he has provided his patients with a natural and alternative approach to dermatological problems, including acne and eczema, to help them look and feel their very best. After earning his undergraduate degree with honors from UC Berkeley, Dr. Wallace went on to Harvard Medical School and received his masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri, while attending Oklahoma University focusing on urban and rural medicine. Dr. Wallace later did his residency training in Dermatology and completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Charles Drew/Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Center located in Los Angeles. Dr. Wallace is a highly decorated 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army (retired) having been a specialist in military trauma, wound ballistics, and malaria research. For over 20 years, Dr. Wallace has been on the medical staff and teaches physicians in training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Wallace currently has over 25 years of combat medicine experience, (through boxing and mixed martial arts) and was the first physician inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. In addition to his work instructing physicians-in-training, Dr. Wallace holds a weekly clinic in Southeast Los Angeles to provide quality general dermatology services to this under-served community. Additionally, Dr. Wallaces philanthropic work has impacted communities around the world. He serves as medical director of Global Medical Rescue, a non-profit that serves those in need domestically and internationally from those who are victims of domestic violence to those impacted by natural disasters. He was a first responder to those affected by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana and the tsunami in Thailand, which was covered by CNN.
